Welcome
Tuscaloosa's One Place is
a Family Resource Center dedicated to providing quality
service and well-designed programs to the Tuscaloosa
Community. Committed to making a difference in the lives of
local families, TOP works hard to identify resources and
reach out through the use of federal and state grants, local
government support, contract services, and private
contributions.
Beginning in 1998, concern for this issue prompted several
task forces to examine this aspect of community life.
Tuscaloosa's One Place is the result of the hard work by
many organizations mobilized by those early task forces, and
is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of community
members in need. We offer many types of resources for the
residents of Tuscaloosa County.
Volunteers
Volunteers play an important role in helping us fulfill our mission. We are always recruiting volunteers to mentor students in our after-school programs as well as center activities. After-school programs meet in the county and city schools from 2:45PM - 5:15 during the school week. Volunteers can register through the Service Learning Pro program with The University of Alabama, or by contacting a Program Coordinator.
Donations
We also accept monetary donations to support our programs. Because we are a non-profit social service agency, all donations are tax deductible. Please mail or deliver monetary donations to our offices, conveniently located in Alberta City or click below.
